I'm reading a book on the Brahms Symphonies...their history, reception, analysis, etc. and the book had some quotes from essays Schoenberg had written about Brahms' harmonic methods. I was interested in reading these Schoenberg essays since Schoenberg is a pretty interesting composer himself, so I googled "Schoenberg essays" and a bunch of pre-written paper sites came up. Surprised me a little.

My audition at BU wasn't so hot, but who knows what will actually happen. I have moved on with my life. Northwestern is in 5 days and that is a little scary. I feel ready but I am nervous. I need to breathe and concentrate. I'm trying to think positively but it's so difficult.
